Christopher H. Wing, (Ret.) received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in 1968 and his law degree from the University of California, Davis in 1974. Between his graduation from USC and beginning law school he served as a Platoon Sergeant in the United States Army from May 1971, and was in Viet Nam from June 1970 through March 1971.

With almost 30 years of practice before the federal and California trial and appellate courts, Sacramento criminal lawyer Mr. Wing has been involved in many complex criminal cases ranging from murder to Political Corruption. While his practice has focused on the defense of white-collar cases in the last decade, he still has represented defendants charged in state and federal cases with crimes of violence and larger drug cases, mainly those involving conspiracy and wiretap issues.

Mr. Wing holds membership in several professional organizations including California Attorney’s fir Criminal Justice [CACJ] and is presently on his third term on the Board of Governors of that organization. Sacramento criminal lawyer Mr. Wing has been a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys for 20 years, was a Master in the Milton J. Schwartz Inns of Court from its inception, is listed in the “Best Lawyers in America,” and was selected as a “core teacher” by the California Continuing Education of the Bar as well as having been a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association.

Mr. Wing is a Fellow of the American College of the Trial Lawyers, and has lectured for over 10 years for the California Continuing Education of the Bar in the area of Criminal Law and Procedure, has been involved in lectures for the California Public Defender’s Association, Placer County’s annual Continuing Legal Education programs as well as programs for Sacramento, Nevada and Yolo Counties, various bar associations, for the California Department of Justice, the California Narcotics Officers’ and has lectured at the “Cow Counties” Annual Judicial conferences, as well participation as a panelist at several annual Judicial Conferences for the Eastern District of California.
